MISSION, PURPOSE & PHILOSOPHY
MISSION
Our mission is to serve the communities of Northern Maine by providing compassionate, evidence-based outpatient treatment for opioid use disorder. We are dedicated to expanding access to high-quality care that empowers individuals to regain their health, restore hope, strengthen their families, and build a foundation for lasting recovery. Every patient who walks through our doors is treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.
CORE VALUES
At Advance Recovery Center, we believe recovery is possible for everyone. We recognize that opioid use disorder is a chronic medical condition—not a personal failure—and that every individual deserves access to compassionate, judgment-free care.
Our approach is built on clinical excellence, integrity, respect, and personalized treatment. By combining Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT), ongoing medical care, and coordination with counseling and community resources, we help patients build healthier, more stable futures while maintaining their work, family, and daily responsibilities.
PHILOSOPHY
We believe recovery begins with treating the whole person, not just the addiction. Every patient's journey is unique, which is why we develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each person's medical needs, recovery goals, and life circumstances.
Our philosophy combines modern medical science, evidence-based practices, and compassionate care to create a supportive outpatient environment where patients can regain independence, strengthen relationships, improve overall well-being, and move forward with confidence. At Advance Recovery Center, recovery is about more than overcoming opioid dependence—it's about restoring hope and creating the foundation for a healthier future.
